Instrument Technician
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Nairobi. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial and commercial settings. This includes calibrating instruments, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, level controls, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems to determine the root cause of malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on instruments to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of instrument maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to diagnose and resolve complex instrument issues.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in instrument technology and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Proficient in troubleshooting various types of instruments.
- Strong knowledge of instrument calibration techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and schematics.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Salary: 1700$ per month.
Location: Nairobi (Egyptian nationals preferred).
Language Requirements: English proficiency required.
