We are a fast-growing tech company based in the beautiful Faroe Islands, looking for a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications that will be used by millions of users around the world. This is a part-time position that offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop native Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and stability of the application
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development or after deployment
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and other programming languages used for Android development
- Familiarity with Android SDK, third-party libraries, and APIs
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with cross-platform development tools such as React Native or Flutter
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this part-time position.

Location:
This is a remote position; however, you must be willing to work within Faroese time zones.
