Unity Developer - Contract Position in Alta, Norway
We are seeking a talented Unity Developer to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Alta, Norway. As a Unity Developer, you will work closely with our game designers and artists to create engaging and immersive gaming experiences. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with game designers and artists to develop and implement gameplay mechanics and features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Optimize game performance for different platforms
- Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues that arise during development
- Stay updated on new Unity features and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (new graduates are welcome to apply)
- Proficient in C# programming language
- Experience with Unity game engine and tools
- Strong understanding of game development principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with other programming languages such as C++ or Java
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g. Maya, 3ds Max)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
