Entry-Level Information Security Analyst


We are hiring an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and data from potential cyber threats. As an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst, you will work closely with our experienced team to learn about the latest security technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor computer networks for security breaches and investigate any potential threats
- Develop and implement security measures to protect our systems and data
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Document all security incidents, findings, and actions taken

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, and databases
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, etc.
- Understanding of encryption methods and secure communication protocols
- Ability to analyze complex technical data and communicate it effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant internships or coursework in information security or cybersecurity is a plus
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP or CISM are a plus
- Experience with incident response procedures is a plus

Salary: 1000$ per month with potential for growth
Location: Lisbon (accommodation provided)
