Equipment Operator

As an Equipment Operator in Svalbard, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of various types of equipment. Your responsibilities will include operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes to move and transport materials, as well as performing routine checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. You will also be responsible for following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment, with a strong understanding of equipment safety procedures. You must also possess excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional certifications or training in equipment operation are preferred.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic who can work independently as well as part of a team. As this is a part-time position, the ability to work flexible hours is essential. Women are encouraged to apply for this position.
