Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nakuru. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of instrumentation equipment used in industrial settings. This includes but is not limited to sensors, transmitters, controllers, and other control devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and electrical systems and possess excellent problem-solving skills. This position is suitable for men and requires own visa. Accommodation will not be provided but a competitive salary of 1300$ per month will be offered. Contract job with possibility for extension.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning instrumentation equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on instrumentation equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
- Install new instrumentation equipment as needed
- Calibrate instruments to meet industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Comply with safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in electronics or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Familiarity with various types of instrumentation equipment such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have own visa and be able to legally work in Nakuru
