Heavy Equipment Operator for Contract Work in Faro

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team for a contract job in Faro. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, to aid in construction and other projects. This position requires a high level of skill and expertise in operating heavy equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to job requirements
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operation of projects
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid heavy equipment operator's license or certification
- Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures when operating heavy machinery
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus)
