Junior Accountant



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing financial team. Our company is located in Vejle, Denmark and we are looking for a candidate with relevant accounting experience, preferably in the same city.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts. You will also work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role and possess strong analytical skills. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required. This role is a contract position with the potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks including bookkeeping and AP/AR management
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects as needed
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role (freshers welcome)
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel (experience with accounting software is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Fluency in English (Danish language skills are a plus)

We offer competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position, along with opportunities for growth within our organization. This role does not include accommodation, so candidates must have their own housing arrangements. Visa sponsorship may be provided for the right candidate.
