We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Karachi, Pakistan. As a Part-Time Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. Your main focus will be ensuring maximum performance, scalability, and security of our applications, while also collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The ideal candidate will have experience with back-end development languages such as Java, Python or Ruby on Rails, as well as knowledge of database design and management.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side components of web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure integration of user-facing elements
- Ensure maximum performance, scalability and security of applications
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Design and implement data storage solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in back-end development
- Proficient in back-end development languages such as Java, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with database design and management (SQL or NoSQL)
- Strong understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jinja 2 or ERB)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Knowledge of web servers (Apache or Nginx)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Part-time jobs are available to candidates who are able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week. This position does not include accommodation. Preference will be given to candidates who have their own visa.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

City:
This position is based in Karachi, Pakistan. However, remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
