Junior Turner

As a Junior Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the metalworking industry, such as lathes and grinders. You will work under the guidance of experienced turners to learn and develop your skills in metal cutting, shaping, and finishing. This is a full-time position based in Kolding and is open to students without prior experience in the field. Our company offers accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-local employees. Responsibilities:
- Operate various machines used in metalworking, including lathes, grinders, and milling machines
- Perform basic maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operation
- Follow instructions from experienced turners to produce high-quality metal parts
- Learn and develop skills in metal cutting, shaping, and finishing
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Adhere to all safety procedures while working with machinery

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Basic understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to learn from experienced turners
- Availability for full-time work in Kolding

Preferred:
- Technical degree or certification in machining or related field
- Previous experience operating machinery or working with metals
- Experience with CNC programming or CAD/CAM software
