Librarian (Beer-Sheva, Israel)


We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Librarian to join our team in Beer-Sheva, Israel. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, providing reference assistance to patrons, and promoting literacy and learning within the community.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize library resources, including books, periodicals, and electronic materials
- Assist patrons with reference inquiries and help them locate materials
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and learning within the community
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and manage overdue materials
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan events and programs for library users
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and technologies in library services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patrons of all ages
and backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of current library technologies
and online databases
- Passion for promoting literacy and learning

Salary: 1000$ per month
