Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land surfaces using specialized equipment and techniques. Your main goal will be to provide precise data for construction, engineering, and mapping projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and developers to ensure that land is properly surveyed and prepared for development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various tools such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Collect and analyze data on land features, boundaries, elevations, and other topographical characteristics
- Prepare detailed reports, maps, and plans based on survey findings
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Ensure all surveying activities are conducted in compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers or geologists to provide accurate data for projects
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Familiarity with CAD software for preparing maps and plans
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred but not required
- Experience working on construction or engineering projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Salary: $1100 per month
Location: Los Angeles, USA
