Unity Developer - Contract


We are a dynamic and growing game development company based in Herning, seeking a skilled Unity Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality games for various platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with designers and artists to create engaging gameplay experiences, implementing game mechanics and features, and optimizing game performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Unity, C#, and game development principles. This is a contract position with the potential for extension or full-time employment. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Unity Developer
- Proficient in C# with strong object-oriented programming skills
- Experience with mobile game development is preferred
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality games using Unity
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement game features that enhance gameplay experience
- Ensure games meet technical requirements such as performance optimization and compatibility across multiple platforms
- Write clean, maintainable code following coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and identify areas for improvement
- Research new technologies and tools to improve the game development process
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress, issues, and solutions
