DevOps Developer (Faroe-Islands)


We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's software infrastructure and streamlining our development processes. As a DevOps Developer, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of code. The ideal candidate will have experience with automation tools, cloud computing, and knowledge of software development practices. This is a contract job with accommodation provided. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software infrastructure
- Automate deployment processes
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize workflows
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure security and scalability of systems
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or software development
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Docker, Puppet or Ansible
- Familiarity with cloud computing services such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of software development practices including Agile methodology
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month for this contract position.
