DevOps Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for managing the entire software development process, from planning and design to deployment and monitoring. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain efficient and reliable systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated processes for software builds, deployment, and testing
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
- Manage version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Chef or Puppet
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met
- Provide technical support to other teams as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Ruby
- Experience with automation tools like Jenkins or Bamboo
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command line tools
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Faroe Islands (accommodation provided)
Visa & Ticket: Company will provide visa sponsorship and cover travel expenses for the selected candidate.
Note: This position is open for students who meet the requirements. However, full-time availability during school breaks is required.
