Database Administrator
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team in the US. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. Your main duties will include monitoring database efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new features and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper backup and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement new database features and functionalities
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software upgrades and patching
- Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related problems reported by end-users or system administrators
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with database design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security protocols, and performance tuning techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: $900 per month (Contract job)
Location: US (no accommodation provided)
