Preservation Architect
City: Oslo, Norway
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Oslo. Your main duties will include conducting site surveys and assessments, creating detailed preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also collaborate with other architects, engineers, and construction workers to ensure that preservation projects are completed successfully.
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in architecture or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in preservation architecture. You should also possess strong technical skills in building materials and techniques, as well as knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
In addition to technical skills, excellent communication and project management skills are essential for this role. You must be able to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and manage multiple preservation projects simultaneously.
