Database Administrator
We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our growing team in Roskilde. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with the IT team to design, develop, and maintain our databases while ensuring data accuracy and availability.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and ensure efficient operation
- Troubleshoot issues and perform necessary maintenance tasks
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database performance
- Ensure data security and implement access controls
- Develop procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity
- Manage database users and permissions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience with database design, development, and optimization
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS)
- Certification in SQL Server or Oracle databases
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python)
Salary: 1500$ per month
