Cataloging Librarian



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cataloging Librarian to join our library in Mecca. As a Cataloging Librarian, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records of all library materials, including books, journals, and digital resources. Your role will also involve classifying materials according to the Dewey Decimal System and cataloging them in our online database.

To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field. You should also have previous experience with cataloging and classification systems, as well as knowledge of current library technologies. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

This is a full-time job with a salary of 1500$. We welcome both Kenyan nationals and foreigners to apply for this position. As our library serves English-speaking patrons, proficiency in the English language is required. Prior experience as a librarian is not necessary, but it is preferred.
