Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our company's information systems. You will be responsible for identifying potential security threats and implementing measures to prevent and mitigate them. This role requires a strong understanding of network security, data protection, and risk assessment techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities in our systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor networks for any suspicious activity or breaches
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for resolution
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the implementation of appropriate security controls
- Train employees on best practices for information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and tools (firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
- Experience with data protection measures such as encryption and access controls
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR or HIPAA
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Experience working in the financial industry
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments

Location: Os, Norway (willingness to relocate preferred)

Salary: $1300/month (with accommodation)
