Milling Machine Operator

We are a manufacturing company located in Split, seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
- Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
