We are seeking a skilled Junior Turner to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Junior Turner, you will work with various types of metals and use specialized tools to shape and cut them according to specifications. You will also be responsible for setting up and operating machines, measuring and inspecting finished products, and ensuring the quality of work meets standards.

To excel in this role, you must have strong technical skills and attention to detail. You should also be physically fit as the job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials. Prior experience is not required as we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, sketches or models to determine specifications
- Operate lathes, grinders, drills and other machinery
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of products
- Inspect finished pieces for defects or imperfections
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or materials
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training in machining or similar field is preferred
- Strong math skills and ability to read technical drawings
- Physically fit with ability to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1700 per month. We do not provide accommodation but can assist with finding suitable housing options. Women are encouraged to apply for this position.
