Freelance Translator



We are in need of a skilled Freelance Translator to join our team in Greenland. As a freelance translator, you will be responsible for translating written material from one language to another while maintaining accuracy and cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities:
- Translate written documents, such as business reports, legal contracts, and marketing materials from one language to another
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in translated materials
- Conduct research to ensure correct terminology is used
- Proofread and edit translations for quality assurance
- Communicate with clients to understand their translation needs and preferences
- Collaborate with other translators and editors to improve translation quality

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English (Greenlandic is preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken form
- Proven experience as a translator (experience is not required for this position)
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines
- Strong research skills to ensure accurate terminology usage
- Knowledge of translation software is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
Starting at 1700$ per month, with potential for increase based on performance.

Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
