Entry-Level Handyman in Svalbard


We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled handyman to join our team in Svalbard. As an entry-level handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks around our facility. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per month, plus accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as needed
- Maintain and repair equipment and machinery
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff or residents in a timely manner
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or construction preferred, but not required
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if necessary
