Preservation Architect

A well-established architectural firm in Jerusalem is looking for a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the field of historic preservation and a passion for preserving cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on historical buildings and structures to determine their significance and historical context
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for the restoration of historical buildings
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that preservation work is done according to standards
- Overseeing restoration projects and ensuring that they are completed within budget and on schedule
- Conducting site visits to assess the condition of historical buildings and structures
- Preparing reports, drawings, and specifications for preservation projects
- Communicating with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in historic preservation or restoration architecture
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
- Knowledge of preservation principles, techniques, materials, and regulations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary: 1200 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Jerusalem, Israel

Nationality Preference: Indian (other nationalities are welcome to apply)
