Chef de Cuisine

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a luxury hotel in Ajman. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, creating innovative and high-quality dishes, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. You will be leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff, overseeing menu planning, food ordering, and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Create new dishes and menus that showcase creativity and elevate guest dining experience
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs by monitoring portion sizes and waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or menu promotions
- Continuously strive to improve quality standards and guest satisfaction

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Exceptional culinary skills with a creative flair for developing unique dishes
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavors, and presentation styles
- Ability to manage a team of chefs and delegate tasks effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with other departments as well as interact with guests
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
