Commercial Architect

A dynamic and innovative architectural firm in Atlanta is seeking a talented Commercial Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for commercial architecture and will be responsible for designing, planning and overseeing the construction of various commercial projects. The successful candidate will have exceptional design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop creative design solutions for their commercial projects
- Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and renderings using relevant software
- Develop project proposals, timelines, and budgets
- Oversee the construction process ensuring that it adheres to design plans and meets quality standards
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, and team members throughout the project timeline

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other relevant software
- Strong design skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Experience working on commercial projects from concept to completion

Preferred:
- Previous experience working on LEED certified projects
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
