Data Mining Analyst
As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can be used to make informed business decisions. You will work closely with our team of data scientists and business analysts to develop strategies and algorithms for data mining, as well as implementing them in our systems. This role requires a strong understanding of statistical analysis and experience with data mining tools such as SQL, Python, and R.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Identify patterns and trends within the data using statistical methods
- Develop and implement algorithms for data mining
- Work with team members to understand business needs and develop strategies for data analysis
- Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously monitor and evaluate data quality to ensure accuracy of results
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments in data mining techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis methods
- Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience using data mining tools (e.g. RapidMiner, SAS)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner
Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1200 per month.
Location: Porto
This position is located in Porto but remote work may be considered.
