Mason for Construction Projects in Alta, Norway


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Mason to join our construction team in Alta, Norway. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various types of materials such as brick, stone, and concrete. You will work on a variety of construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Prepare the site by laying out materials and ensuring safety precautions are in place
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut or break materials using hand or power tools
- Lay out patterns or foundations using mortar, cement, or other bonding agents
- Build walls, arches, chimneys, and other structures using bricks or other masonry units
- Repair cracks or damaged structures with appropriate materials
- Follow building codes and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of different types of masonry work including bricklaying, stonemasonry, and concrete work
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport for international travel (preferred)
- Must be willing to relocate to Alta without accommodation provided

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month. Additional benefits such as healthcare coverage may also be provided.
