Carpenter
As a Carpenter in Monte-Carlo, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various wooden structures. Your primary task will be to use your knowledge of different tools and techniques to create high-quality products that meet our clients' specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut wood pieces according to blueprints and specifications
- Assemble wooden structures, including furniture, walls, and frames
- Install fixtures such as doors, windows, and molding
- Repair damaged wooden structures or furniture
- Sand and polish finished products to ensure smooth surfaces
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate with other team members and clients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational diploma or apprenticeship in Carpentry or a related field
- Experience working on construction sites or with various types of wood (e.g. hardwoods, softwoods)
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards in construction industry
Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of $900 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
