Junior Preservation Architect



As a Junior Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for assisting in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures in Vejle. Your duties will include conducting research, preparing reports and drawings, and assisting with on-site surveys and inspections. You will work closely with senior architects to develop preservation plans and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Knowledge of historic preservation principles and techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural design software
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the history, materials, and construction methods of historic buildings
- Prepare reports detailing the condition of historic structures and recommending preservation strategies
- Assist in developing preservation plans that meet the needs of clients while preserving the integrity of the structure
- Create accurate drawings using AutoCAD or other software for proposed restoration projects
- Collaborate with senior architects to ensure compliance with local regulations and guidelines
- Assist with on-site surveys and inspections to assess building conditions
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, budget, and timelines
