Facade Engineer

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our dynamic team in Porto. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in architectural engineering, with a focus on facades and building envelope design. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing the construction of building facades to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop facade designs that meet project requirements
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to determine the strength and stability of facade systems
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction documents
- Oversee the fabrication and installation of facade components on-site
- Monitor construction progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to design standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in facade technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in facade design and engineering
- Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis programs
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to facades
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position.
