Head Chef


We are currently hiring for the position of Head Chef for our restaurant located in Randers, Denmark. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual who is passionate about food and has a strong leadership skills. As the head chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, creating new menu items, and ensuring that all dishes served meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design creative menus in line with current food trends and customer preferences
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety standards, and portion control
- Manage inventory levels and order ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to create cost-effective menus without compromising on quality
- Conduct regular food tastings to ensure consistency in flavor, appearance, and portion sizes
- Monitor food costs, budgeting, and forecasting for the kitchen department
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques or ingredients to enhance menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution preferred
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are an asset)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per week based on experience.
