Job Title: Cashier for Busy Convenience Store in Odense


We are in need of a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our busy convenience store located in the bustling city of Odense. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to our diverse clientele. This is a contract position without accommodation, suitable for individuals with their own visa. All nationalities are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a welcoming smile and provide prompt and courteous service
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately using a POS system
- Maintain accurate cash drawer, handle refunds, exchanges, and voids according to store policies
- Keep checkout area clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Answer customer inquiries about products, prices, promotions, and store policies
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Follow proper procedures for opening/closing the store and handling daily deposits

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Knowledge of basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred but not required
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent in Danish (or another Scandinavian language) is a plus but not required

Salary:
This is an hourly position paying 1600$ per month based on 37.5 hours per week.
