Cashier for a Retail Store in Salalah, Oman
We are hiring a Cashier to handle transactions at our retail store in Salalah, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases, handling cash and card payments, and providing excellent customer service. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month and includes accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries about products and services
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations
- Follow proper cash handling procedures to minimize errors and discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required
