We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Eschen. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain databases for our company's applications
- Monitor database performance, identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks
- Develop database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability
- Manage database security by implementing access controls, user authentication, and data encryption
- Troubleshoot database related problems and provide technical support to users
- Develop data models and database schemas according to business requirements
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize application performance by tuning SQL queries
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as upgrades, patches, and data migrations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL programming language with knowledge of MySQL or Oracle databases preferred
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
