Executive Chef - Mauren, Kenya



We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Mauren, Kenya. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a great opportunity for a talented chef who is passionate about creating delicious and visually stunning dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new menu items that cater to our diverse clientele
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation
- Oversee the purchasing and inventory of food and kitchen supplies
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain a high level of efficiency
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Create and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source fresh ingredients

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mindset with the ability to come up with new ideas for menus and dishes
