Blast Furnace Operator

The Blast Furnace Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces to melt and refine metals and alloys, such as iron, steel, and copper. This position requires a high level of physical strength and endurance as well as the ability to work in extreme temperatures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have good problem-solving skills, and be able to work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor equipment operation and make adjustments as necessary
- Load materials into furnace using various tools and equipment
- Control flow of materials into furnace to ensure proper melting process
- Monitor temperature levels and adjust accordingly
- Remove impurities from molten metal using various methods
- Inspect equipment for defects and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make repairs when needed
- Maintain accurate records of production levels and quality control measures
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working in a blast furnace or similar industrial setting preferred but not required
- Ability to work in hot, noisy, and physically demanding conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use various tools effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating production levels
- Good communication skills for working with team members and supervisors
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or overtime when necessary

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Pula, Croatia (Preference given to candidates from Pakistan or Nepal)

Type of Employment: Full-time (Part-time positions may also be available)
