Tutor for International Students


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Tutor for international students, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students from diverse backgrounds. Your main role will be to assist students in their studies, help them develop effective learning strategies, and ensure their academic success. This position requires previous tutoring experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with students of all ages and nationalities. As a Tutor for international students, your key responsibilities will include:

- Conducting one-on-one or group tutoring sessions with students from various countries
- Assisting students with understanding course materials, assignments, and exams
- Developing personalized learning plans based on student's needs and goals
- Providing feedback on student's progress and identifying areas for improvement
- Encouraging active learning through engaging activities and discussions
- Communicating effectively with students of different nationalities and backgrounds
- Collaborating with other tutors and faculty members to ensure student's academic success
- Maintaining accurate records of student's progress and attendance

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Previous experience as a tutor or teacher preferred
- Strong knowledge of various subjects such as Math, Science, English, etc.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to adapt teaching methods according to student's learning style
- Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity when working with international students
- Proven ability to motivate and engage students in their studies
- Familiarity with online tutoring platforms is an advantage
