Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries and desserts that will delight our customers' taste buds. You will work closely with our kitchen team to develop new and exciting menu items, while also ensuring that all pastry dishes are consistently prepared to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of pastries and desserts, including cakes, tarts, cookies, and more
- Create new recipes and menu items that showcase your creativity and culinary expertise
- Ensure all pastries are prepared and presented according to established quality standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate pastry orders with other food preparation activities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all food safety guidelines
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and methods for various types of pastries
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in recipe development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Working Conditions:
This position is based in Alta, where you will have access to high-quality ingredients from local suppliers. The working hours may include weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on business needs.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position. Other benefits may be discussed during the interview process.
