Head Chef at Fine Dining Restaurant
As the Head Chef at our upscale restaurant in Herning, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and culinary operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative chef with a passion for creating exceptional dishes and leading a team.
Responsibilities:
- Design menus and create new dishes that reflect our restaurant's concept and use fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain food cost control
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Monitor food presentation to maintain consistent quality standards
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creative flair for developing unique dishes while staying true to the restaurant's concept
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills to meet strict deadlines during busy periods
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month plus tips.
