Interpreter for International Events (Kolding, Denmark)

As an Interpreter for International Events in Kolding, Denmark, you will be responsible for providing real-time interpretation services for a variety of events and conferences. Your primary role will be to facilitate communication between English-speaking and non-English-speaking attendees, ensuring that all participants are able to fully engage and understand the content being presented.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide simultaneous interpretation during presentations, workshops, and discussions at international events
- Accurately convey information and maintain the tone and style of the original speaker
- Conduct thorough research on event topics and prepare relevant vocabulary and terminology lists
- Facilitate communication between event organizers and non-English-speaking attendees
- Assist with any necessary document translation before or after events
- Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Danish)
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a conference or event setting
- Biometric passport for travel purposes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of relevant terminology in various industries
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends if needed

Salary: $1600 per month without accommodation.
