Formwork Specialist



As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing temporary structures such as scaffolding, falsework, and formwork to support concrete during construction projects. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that all formwork is built accurately and safely according to project specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine formwork requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, ensuring accurate dimensions
- Cut, shape, and join materials such as wood, metal, and plywood for formwork construction
- Erect scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed
- Install and secure formwork structures using various tools and equipment
- Pour concrete into formwork according to project specifications
- Remove formwork after concrete has set and clean up work area
- Inspect formwork for any damages or defects before each use
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in carpentry or construction preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in formwork construction or related field
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately
- Proficient in using various hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends if needed

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Triesen (accommodation provided)
