Fitter (Porto, Portugal)


We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing and repairing machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other instructions. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, aligning and fitting parts, and testing completed equipment to ensure proper functioning.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read technical drawings. You must also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in welding and using power tools is highly preferred.

As our Fitter, you will be expected to work on a variety of projects including building new machinery or repairing existing equipment. This may involve working with different materials such as metal, plastic or wood. You will also need to have good physical stamina as the job may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working as a Fitter in a similar role. We are open to considering candidates of any nationality but proficiency in English is required as it is the main language used in our company.
