Job Title: Tiler - Contract Position in Greenland



Our construction company is seeking an experienced Tiler to join our team for a contract position in Greenland. This opportunity is open to all nationalities and requires the candidate to have their own accommodation.

As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing tiles in residential and commercial properties. This includes measuring and cutting tiles to fit specific areas, preparing surfaces for tiling, and grouting and sealing tiles. You will also be expected to repair or replace damaged tiles, as well as ensure the overall quality and appearance of the finished product.

To excel in this role, you should have a high level of attention to detail and be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Experience with different tiling materials such as ceramic, porcelain, and stone is required. You should also have knowledge of various tiling techniques and tools.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler with at least 3 years of experience
- Familiarity with different tiling materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans
- Excellent measurement and math skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles according to specifications
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, filling holes, or leveling surfaces
- Lay tiles in an aesthetically pleasing pattern while ensuring proper alignment and spacing
- Mix grout or other adhesive substances for tile installation
- Apply sealant or other protective coatings as needed
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as necessary
- Clean up job site after each shift
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position based in Greenland, with a salary of $1000 per week. As this position does not include accommodation, candidates must arrange their own housing during the duration of the contract. The work schedule may vary depending on project deadlines and may involve working weekends or overtime.
