Executive Pastry Chef
The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and implementing pastry menus, overseeing the production of all pastries and desserts, and managing a team of pastry chefs in our Esbjerg location. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in pastry arts, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. They should also possess excellent leadership skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities include developing new pastry recipes and flavors, ensuring high quality standards are met in all pastries and desserts, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The Executive Pastry Chef will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior pastry chefs, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback for improvement.
The successful candidate must have excellent time management skills, be able to multitask effectively, and have a creative mindset to continuously innovate our pastry offerings. They should also be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of ingredients and recipes.
A degree or diploma in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts is preferred but not required. This position offers a competitive salary of $1200 per month plus benefits. The ideal candidate should have a passion for pastry making and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is open to candidates from any nationality who are legally eligible to work in Esbjerg.
