Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the company's database systems. This includes ensuring data security, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and optimizing database performance. You will also work closely with the IT team to ensure database systems are integrated with other company systems and applications.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of SQL databases and be familiar with database design principles. You should also have experience in data analysis and be able to identify and solve complex problems. Additionally, strong communication skills are essential as you will need to collaborate with various teams within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the company's databases to ensure data security and integrity.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the databases.
- Optimize database performance by conducting regular performance tuning activities.
- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate databases with other systems and applications.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop procedures for data backup, archiving, and disaster recovery.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and database design principles.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel or Tableau.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations such as GDPR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Remish, India (Indians preferred)

Working Hours: Part-time (25 hours per week)

Language Requirements: English (speaking)
