Merchandiser (Contract)


We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the buying and selling of products in our retail stores. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, manage inventory levels, and analyze sales data to make informed decisions about product placement and promotions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment or reduction
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and promotional opportunities
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make adjustments to product offerings as needed
- Communicate with store managers to ensure proper display and placement of products
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the retail industry
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this contract position.
