Part-time Tiler in Herning, Denmark
We are in search of a skilled Tiler to join our team in Herning, Denmark. As a Part-time Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles in various settings such as homes, offices, and other buildings. Your main duty will be to ensure that the tiles are properly aligned and placed to create a visually appealing and functional surface.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles according to the required dimensions
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them
- Mix and apply adhesive to secure tiles in place
- Use various tools such as tile cutters, trowels, and levels to install tiles
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles
- Remove damaged or old tiles for replacement or repair
- Seal grout lines to prevent water damage or stains
- Follow safety procedures to avoid accidents or injuries while working with tools and equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans
- Knowledge of different tile materials such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.
- Familiarity with various tiling techniques including mosaics, patterns, etc.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this part-time position. The exact working hours can be discussed during the interview.
