Architectural Technologist
We are a leading architectural design firm based in Faroe-Islands, and we are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, planning, and construction of various architectural projects.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with architects and engineers to develop detailed designs and plans for new construction projects
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of buildings and structures
- Conduct site visits to gather information and take measurements for project planning
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Prepare cost estimates and material lists for projects
- Monitor construction progress and provide technical support as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.
Contract:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
